Power of prayer
Oh how mighty it is,
to put your fears
and worries
with a deity
How fresh! So light,
To surrender
and give up the
Fight!
Two shut lids,
Ideas murmured with lips,
A heart wished
And Faith's power released.

Dear Lord, please keep the living strong and let them let go of their loss. Please touch them with your presence so that they may find peace.
Please look after the deceased and bring them to your heaven.
Dear lord, please let us remember how mortal we all are and remind us to live life to the fullest and to leave a legacy of your kindness behind.

2 wakes in a day
Quite a terrible day. Something I said made someone think that I am a terrible person yet that is not what I meant at all.
Started the day with a colleague mom's wake and ended it with a distanced relative's one. And both were unexpected.
So we understand our mortality? Really? Do I need to wait till I'm dead before I can realized that I need to live? Do I need to wait till I'm dead before I can tell others I love them very much? Do I need to wait till I'm dead before I can let go of pride? Alas, how is it that we never learn that we have only 1 life and if we don't be happy that same life is going to pass us by without us knowing.

Wet Christmas
Christmas night at home with the TV has a quaint cozy touch that really charms.
Never thought Alvin & the chipmunks has such potential lol. Too sick to do much anyway. Earlier I caught santa clause 3 which I have never watch before despite being a fan of 1 & 2.
Dinner is a hot noodle soup which really warm me up. :) and with all the choco n biscuits I'm quite contented!
Last night was fun before I zonk out. We went to marina barrage after count downing to Christmas in A's car and driving around the fountain at suntec.
