He painted a glowing moon over the dark stripped sky. And it was masterful, the juxtaposition of lines and circle, light and darkness. Then he wave the stripes away, and the moon hung in a glorified lonely worship.
Are you admiring the same painting as I am?

doorways
i love to go thr arches, doorways, between pillars.. and everytime i do so... i hope and held my breath... that maybe i will be transported to somewhere magical.
i know it is foolish.. but.. some how i wish i am living another life.

Scar - a poem
Like a scar on tar,
The clouds a-jarred,
Paving a highway
While the moon fades away.
So fast,
I walk past
And poof,
An empty roof.
my wound
Gone like the moon
But tomorrow makes
My scar awakes.
By me.
The clouds a-jarred,
Paving a highway
While the moon fades away.
So fast,
I walk past
And poof,
An empty roof.
my wound
Gone like the moon
But tomorrow makes
My scar awakes.
By me.

The sky above me- A Haiku
In crowded spaces
Where stars jostle for presence
The moon hangs by itself
- by me.
Where stars jostle for presence
The moon hangs by itself
- by me.

Additions in my sky- Poem
Additions in my sky- Poem
The new stars in my sky,
Like a tropical welcome drink,
Sometimes yellow, sometimes pink.
Laboriously stringed
Lifted by hand and wind
The lights on wire and wings.
The new stars in my sky,
Like a tropical welcome drink,
Sometimes yellow, sometimes pink.
Laboriously stringed
Lifted by hand and wind
The lights on wire and wings.

blood on her lips
like the morning dew which sat on the leaf, seemingly weightless yet you cannot denied its weight, that was how the blood-drop looked on her lips.

Power of prayer
Oh how mighty it is,
to put your fears
and worries
with a deity
How fresh! So light,
To surrender
and give up the
Fight!
Two shut lids,
Ideas murmured with lips,
A heart wished
And Faith's power released.
- by me.
Dear Lord, please keep the living strong and let them let go of their loss. Please touch them with your presence so that they may find peace.
Please look after the deceased and bring them to your heaven.
Dear lord, please let us remember how mortal we all are and remind us to live life to the fullest and to leave a legacy of your kindness behind.

Little boy, I called Bert.
I was walking along... just on my way home when i met a little boy in a yellow kiddy t-shirt.
He skips by me in his fruit basket slippers in a jaunty manner that left me smiling in his wake.
As i struggled behind him, heavily weighted down by my laptop, i watch as he moves like Hermes in flight.
My black heels doing too little as they hit the cement with ugly thuds, thuds, thuds.
His criss-crossing of the shelter pillar like an individual waltz...
This little boy in a yellow kiddy t-shirt, I called Bert.

To be a cat - poem
To be a cat
was what i dream
when i was a tad,
wee bit thing.
during summer
or ordinary hot days
it lay sleepily
on grass or parking lots.
eyes tightly shut,
ears flopped close,
stomach up or sideways
hands as pillows do.
winter came and
inside it leaped
well snuggled in basket,
purring on soft laps.
To be a cat,
i used to dream...
now isnt that
a pretty darn thing?
was what i dream
when i was a tad,
wee bit thing.
during summer
or ordinary hot days
it lay sleepily
on grass or parking lots.
eyes tightly shut,
ears flopped close,
stomach up or sideways
hands as pillows do.

Poem - Parting
THERE'S no use in weeping,
Though we are condemned to part:
There's such a thing as keeping
A remembrance in one's heart:
There's such a thing as dwelling
On the thought ourselves have nurs'd,
And with scorn and courage telling
The world to do its worst.
We'll not let its follies grieve us,
We'll just take them as they come;
And then every day will leave us
A merry laugh for home.
When we've left each friend and brother,
When we're parted wide and far,
We will think of one another,
As even better than we are.
Every glorious sight above us,
Every pleasant sight beneath,
We'll connect with those that love us,
Whom we truly love till death !
In the evening, when we're sitting
By the fire perchance alone,
Then shall heart with warm heart meeting,
Give responsive tone for tone.
We can burst the bonds which chain us,
Which cold human hands have wrought,
And where none shall dare restrain us
We can meet again, in thought.
So there's no use in weeping,
Bear a cheerful spirit still;
Never doubt that Fate is keeping
Future good for present ill !

Do not stand at my grave and weep - Poem
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

Angels in disguise
he is a giver
of hope,
the caretaker of the fountain
of youth.
he must have shared in the garden of eden,
with God.
at my lowest,
he will throw me a torch.
this great believer
of self-service.
i used to doubt
but now i know better.
angel.

The night holds...
The night holds what the day cannot shoulder,
and the moon boldly illuminates what the sun shys from.
and the moon boldly illuminates what the sun shys from.

Jiminy Cricket
My conscious has a voice he is unafraid to use. In fact he seldom whisper in my ear. More commonly, his is the booming voice that command my whole attention. While he has the best of intentions, his manners leave me uneasy and put me off. He points and swing his orange umbrella roughly to make his point and his hard and hurried taps give me a headache. Makes me want to swat him like a fly but... my conscious he has voice which make me listens. Abet unhappily.

He and his fish.
He sat by the aquarium. That's the only thing that caught his attention. Not the lack of money on the table. Not the cramped letter box of bills and mess on the dinning table. Not the emptiness of the refrigerator nor the similarly bare rooms.
He sat by the aquarium and speak softly in fish-ish. He and his fish.

When I say "goodbye world"
When I bid the world goodbye, I think I would be misty-eye. Sad to let go of something I thought would always be there.
I would take one last look at the sun and marvel that it will be the last time. And how every star I see in my future would be compared to it. I would always remember how the sun looked beyond my tears. How the light blurs and blend softly, and pierce and focus sharply through the teardrop.
And I would look at the clouds and sky and ask again to see the staircase to heaven- just to check if God replies. And I will look towards the horizon, enjoying the stretch of sea before I reach the edge. And I would breathe, deeply. Close my eyes and smile in a watery manner at how this world has fed me and sheltered me and paved the way to a stronger me for a harsher world.

situations which i do not know how to attend to-
Somedays wishing to be Everydays,
Some futures wishing to be ends,
Someones to become

Where are you my friend
Where are you my friend, my partner
in fun and laughter?
Where are all the happy moments
we had, flew to?
Why have we change?
Things are different now.
You have your clique.
And me, none.
Where are you my friend, my midnight
Phone caller?
Why have we change?
